1. Planning for Teaching
Before teaching, I have to
observations in Matthayom 4-6 means for senior high school grade 7th
to grade 9th to find out the
teaching system. After that, I made lesson plan that was adjusted to the
conditions I found and how to overcome the problems in the class. The
conclusion, Chemistry Teachers in
Rachinee Burana School made the teaching plan in every week before they start
teaching.
2. Preparing
Lessons and Materials
Around
30 minutes before class started, teachers will do preparation. They will check
the material, power slide presentation, and the assignment that will be used
during the section. They wouldn’t skip the preparation before class started.
3. Teaching
in Class
There
is no difference in starting a lesson between Indonesia and Thailand, it's just
that the course is just about it. Thailand with its thick Thai culture, honors
the teacher by greeting him before learning. When studying chemistry in
English, the teacher is recommended first to provide English vocabulary that is
relevant to the topic so students can improve their vocabulary. After the
teacher explains the key concepts of the topics discussed, interacting
questions as atmosphere warmers, asking for homework if any or reviewing a few
previous lessons and assigning assignments to students.
4. Measurement
and Evaluation
The
measurement and evaluation system of the students can be through weekly test,
quiz, periodical examination (middle term and final term examination), and also
from the attitude of the students in the school.
